The decoration of this lovely hotel truly captured the elegance of old times. I adored the classic style with beautiful paintings and a stunning chandelier in our room. It made me feel like I was stepping into a different era. The hotel's general areas were also well-maintained and clean, providing a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation. , being a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible, with no need to climb up multiple flights of stairs.

While I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, I believe the children working there could have been more accommodating during breakfast. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet was not complete when we arrived at 10:30, which left us with limited options.

Ideally situated in a very pleasant area of Dusseldorf with many good bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walking distance. There are tram and bus stops just outside the hotel giving access to the excellent public transport system.

We had a blast exploring Dusseldorf and trying out all the cool activities nearby. We went skiing and golfing, and let me tell you, it was epic! The hotel even offered bike hire, so we could explore the city like true adventurers. It was the perfect vacation for young, fun-loving people like us!

The only thing we would've asked for is a better nightlife scene nearby. We wanted to party and have a wild night out, but it was a bit quiet in the area.

My most horrible experience I have ever had to witness was when leaving the hotel the receptionist decided to shout at me and threaten to call the police, her communication skills were shocking - this I have never experienced anywhere that I have stayed.

For us, as it was the intention of our visit, it was slightly disappointing when we realised that it was quite a trek to the Christmas Markets (20-30 minutes walk). But the tram to the city centre was regular so this turned out to be less of a problem than first thought.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent, with a beautiful, newly remodeled room. The location was perfect, with plenty of nearby restaurants and easy access to public transportation. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.
